Engineering Security Into a Diplomatic Landmark
The Irish Embassy project demanded far more than a conventional façade solution. Located within Abuja’s diplomatic district and designed to serve critical consular and governmental functions, the building required a highly controlled envelope capable of integrating advanced security systems without compromising architectural clarity. The challenge was not simply technical integration, but discretion. Security elements had to function seamlessly within the architecture, creating an environment that remained open, calm, and contemporary while meeting enhanced diplomatic security requirements.

Execution & Results
Ace Facades was responsible for the supply, fabrication, and installation of a highly specialized package of façade and security systems — including Equitone fibre cement panels, double-glazed curtain walls, BR6-rated bulletproof partitions, fireproof doors, blast-film glazing systems, aluminium brise soleil elements, and secure internal access systems.
By combining internationally benchmarked systems with disciplined execution and precision detailing, Ace Facades delivered a building envelope engineered for durability, safety, and operational integrity — proving that high-security environments can still maintain architectural elegance.
“The façade became both a protective layer and an architectural statement — balancing security with restraint.”
